The same Vic Firth hickory with a reduced price. Vic Firth NOVA 5B Hickory Drumsticks are slightly thicker and heavier than a standard 5A stick but are still suitable to cover all styles. They provide a bit more punch for your funk and rock grooves and with a teardrop shaped wooden tip, the Nova 5B drumsticks provide a rich cymbal sound. If you are looking to purchase a pair of drumsticks with value for money in mind, then look no further than Nova drumsticks by Vic Firth.

What's different about Nova drumsticks?
They are crafted and tested the same as the Vic Firth American Classic drumsticks, made from hickory and weight-sorted and tone-paired using Vic Firth technology. The only difference – they are crafted from the hickory left over from the American Classic manufacturing process.
