"Through my years of teaching, I have used many beginner mallet percussion books and have come to settle on Nice 'n' Easy as my preferred first book for young percussionists. The pieces are musical, accompaniments are fun and exercises to go with each piece very useful for reinforcing ideas and musical concepts.
